What’s Nice
The founding developer of Wordpress Matthew Mullenweg just redesigned his site for spring. The grungy florally design. Amazingly this is the first time he eats his own dog food…or pick your own favortite saying relating to using your own product.

What’s Nice
Cycling team websites are usually all over the map in terms of sophistication. They are more or less promotional materials to keep fans close to the team. Slipstream brought the new site up a few notches with a very slick design and lots of nice features. Twitter updates are available along with lots of pictures and links to various videos. If you want to see Tyler Farrar’s TT crash in Paris-Nice or Magnus Backstedt’s crash in the Tour of Qatar you can easily find the info. I’m a big fan of using Wordpress for more than blogging and this is a great example of what can be done to extend Wordpress.
